SYNOPSIS
In Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, 17-year-old Scott Chen dreams of being a photographer but constantly argues about his passion with his practical-minded parents. After Scott and his dad get into an argument, they are forced to recall their past and re-evaluate what's important to them.
From storyboard to animatic to previs to final edit, this thesis project was an iterative process. The story and edit were subject to change every day. With the feedback from my various story advisors (Harry Dorrington, Seth Gollub, Ellen Su, and Kristin Labriola) and the collaboration of my co-directors, we sharpened the story.
